Artist's Ambush - May 31, 2006
Tonight's Topic:
Europe recently discovered their first brachiosauri - and they were miniatures. At six meters long, they were less than 1/3 the length of their closest cousins. Scientists theories that 'island dwarfism' caused these creatures to shrink over millenia as they competed for scarce resources on a small island. What sorts of tiny creatures have you encountered? Can you imagine a world where creatures that you think of as large are suddenly tiny?
