Back from Extinction This week, the Neanderthal genome was sequenced and discovered to be 99.5% homo sapiens. With the aardwolf, mammoth and dodo genomes also being sequenced, it may just be a matter of decades before clones of these ancient species might cross back from the void. Is it a good idea?
