Last night, European astronomers announced the discovery of an Earthlike planet 20 light years distant, circling close to a red sun. Though five times the mass of the earth, it is the first rocky island to be found away from our sun. Could you imagine setting out on a journey to such a world? What would you find there? How do you think you would live, as the first inhabitants in an entirely new solar system?
