Also, there should be commas at the ends of “surely” and “keep”.
Thanks for catching the spelling mistakes! However, I don’t think I agree with most of your suggestions about comma placement. I’m not sure what the grammatically correct answer is, but they seem to add too many pauses to me and interrupt the flow of the dialog.
I’d have to agree with Mark on this one. 😉
